Razume In The News
Razume In The News

August 6, 2008

Just wanted to take a quick moment to call attention to this TechCrunch article which announces the unveiling of LaunchBox Digital’s first nine startups.

Our favorite of the group is Razume, a collaborative resume review service. But hey, we’re biased—we know those guys! For the past couple months, we’ve had the pleasure of helping them develop their online resume building tools, document management, and peer review features. It’s been a fun ride and it’s great to see them finally launched and seeing some much deserved attention.

In any case, congratulations to Sam, Brian, and the rest of the team on the formal launch. We think Razume will be an indispensable resource for recent college grads, connecting them with professional resume experts and like minded job seekers. We’ve had a great time working with you and have high hopes for its continued success!
Wed, 06 Aug 2008 13:49:00 GMT http://www.ubikorp.com/news/2008/08/06/razume-in-the-news/ http://www.ubikorp.com/news/2008/08/06/razume-in-the-news/ New Website Launched
New Website Launched

May 28, 2008

We’re a development firm, and that means we spend a lot of time developing websites and applications for other people. When we’re not doing that, we’re usually engaged in building vanity sites or fun applications for ourselves, or contributing to open source projects. The last thing we usually want to spend time focusing on is our own website, because, frankly, we’re not marketing people.

In fact, we’d go as far as to say that we’re bad at marketing ourselves, at least in the traditional sense of the word. All of our business comes from referrals and word of mouth, which is the way we like it.

That said, there comes a time when your existing website is just, well, embarrassing. When you send a list of portfolio sites to clients and they say “wow these look great, but what’s the deal with your own site?” then you know it’s time to do something about it. In any case, a “corporate site” facelift was long overdue, so we took a chunk of time and banged it out, with the help of our designer and co-conspirator Ty Rauber.

Hope you like it. We do.
Mon, 19 May 2008 16:25:00 GMT http://www.ubikorp.com/news/2008/05/19/new-website-launched/ http://www.ubikorp.com/news/2008/05/19/new-website-launched/
