New Website Launched

May 28, 2008

We’re a development firm, and that means we spend a lot of time developing websites and applications for other people. When we’re not doing that, we’re usually engaged in building vanity sites or fun applications for ourselves, or contributing to open source projects. The last thing we usually want to spend time focusing on is our own website, because, frankly, we’re not marketing people.

In fact, we’d go as far as to say that we’re bad at marketing ourselves, at least in the traditional sense of the word. All of our business comes from referrals and word of mouth, which is the way we like it.

That said, there comes a time when your existing website is just, well, embarrassing. When you send a list of portfolio sites to clients and they say “wow these look great, but what’s the deal with your own site?” then you know it’s time to do something about it. In any case, a “corporate site” facelift was long overdue, so we took a chunk of time and banged it out, with the help of our designer and co-conspirator Ty Rauber.

Hope you like it. We do.
